Safeguarding eServices: Understanding and Adhering to Our Terms of Use

Published 08/11/2025

Our eServices portal is a vital tool for many of our users, designed to provide efficient and secure access to essential functions. To maintain the integrity, security and reliability of this critical system, it is imperative that all users understand and strictly adhere to the established eServices Terms of Use.

This reminder focuses on two key prohibitions that are fundamental to protecting both the system and individual user data: prohibiting system interfaces and banning the sharing of user IDs and passwords.

Prohibition of System Interfaces with eServices

Our eServices portal is engineered to function as a stand-alone system, intended for direct, 'as is' use by the end-user. Therefore, for the security and stability of the platform, the following is strictly prohibited:

  • Use of Automated Tools: The use of any application, program or macro, or any other automated tool that interfaces with eServices, is forbidden. This includes, but is not limited to, programs designed to extract data, input information automatically or perform functions typically handled by a human user.
  • Bypassing Security Checks: You must not use any computer program or method to bypass our security checks within the eServices portal. Our security measures are in place to protect your data and the system from unauthorized access or malicious activity.

Consequence: Any eServices account identified as using an automated tool or external program in conjunction with the functions of the eServices portal will be terminated immediately.

Prohibition of Sharing User IDs and Passwords

Individual accountability and data security are paramount within eServices. To ensure this, the sharing of eServices user IDs and passwords is strictly prohibited:

  • Unique User IDs Required: Each user of eServices must possess a unique user ID and password. This ensures that all actions performed within the portal can be accurately traced back to an individual user, enhancing security and accountability.
  • No Generic Usernames: Generic contact or user names are not permitted. We expect each user ID to be associated with a legitimate first and last name.
    • Examples of prohibited generic usernames include: "Front Desk," "Account Coordinator," "Billing Department," "User A," or the name of your provider office.
  • Individual Responsibility: Your user ID and password are your personal credentials. Sharing them compromises the security of not only your account but the entire system and potentially sensitive information.

Consequence: Accounts flagged for sharing user IDs and passwords will also be terminated without exception.

Our Commitment to Security, Your Responsibility in Adherence

These terms are not merely guidelines; they are essential security protocols designed to protect your data, maintain the integrity of our eServices platform, and ensure a secure and efficient environment for all users.

We urge all users to review these critical components of our eServices Terms of Use. Your cooperation in adhering to these rules is vital for the continuous, secure, and reliable operation of the eServices portal for everyone.
